Susan Smith Nash, Editor-in-Chief
Susan Smith Nash has developed, designed, and administered educational programs with forward-looking uses of the Internet and information technology since the mid 1990s. Her current interests include the use of new technologies to develop effective instructional materials, delivery methods, and teaching for all levels of education and all ages of students. Her latest book, Excellence in College Teaching and Learning: Classroom and Online, is coauthored with George Henderson, and published by Charles C. Thomas Press. Nash is a recent recipient of a Trubar award, given to promote cultural and literary exchanges.
Erica Nielsen, Assistant Editor
Erica Nielsen is a writer, researcher, and dance ethnologist in Boston. She studied anthropology at Macalester College, and has conducted fieldwork in the U.S., France, and Bulgaria. She taught dance cultural studies courses for two years at Arizona State University, where she earned a MFA in Dance and wrote a chapter for the book Balkan Dance by Anthony Shay. While teaching at ASU, Erica developed an interest in teaching methodologies and the development of new learning tools. She is an advocate of online and hybrid learning, and intends to create dynamic e-learning solutions for the world of dance education.
Zornitsa Vodenska, Assistant Editor
A native of Bulgaria, Zornitsa Vodenska graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2006 with a B.A. in English. She has worked for Xplana, Inc. since 2007 as part of the company’s eBook team, and has recently begun contributing to XplanaZine as an assistant editor. She is interested in all aspects of electronic learning and the tools that facilitate it.
