Higher Education Demands More of Learning Technology and Publishers

A recent survey in Campus Technology reveals a growing dissatisfaction with market-leading course management systems such as WebCT and BlackBoard. The survey also points to the fact that publishers have yet to find a way to penetrate the higher education market successfully with digital content. These and other results of the survey point to the critical importance of price and support as well as the disruptive power of technology when put directly in the hands of educators.
