<description>hey Vassiliki, this is great stuff (you know I am the queen of analogies... I want analogies for the analogies!) - but I have to tell you something about glitches - last spring I got this desperate request from a student (an OU cheerleader) who desperately wanted in my myth-folklore class, and he insisted that he really had enrolled in it during pre-enrollment, but something went wrong, it's not his fault - it was all the CLICHES IN THE MACHINE that made the computerized enrollment mess up. and I stared and stared and stared at that message for the longest time until I realized that he pronounced it "clitches" and that he meant the "glitches" in the machine, not the cliches. (I think cliches are French and glitches are Yiddish...)
